Life's a mess but it can still look good! DIYs, my personal take on life, hopefully some advice and more! Feel like your life is a mess too? You're not alone!
If you’re like me, I know you have at least 1 bag of mini eggs lying around after Easter! So I used mine to make this beautiful mini egg chocolate dessert perfect to serve after that Easter Sunday roast or binge on surrounded in chocolate on Easter Monday the day after (as if I don’t have enough chocolate right now!) This is super quick and easy to make, check out the video below (also posted on my Youtube channel) or scroll down for the written recipe.
I’m a little late but I thought I’d share my new favourite for pancake day! Pancakes aren’t only for Pancake Day anyway so why not try these fluffy blueberry pancakes? Definately a new favourite of mine…pancakes for breakfast anyone? Check out a quick recipe video below!
It’s National Pizza Day today! (9th February) and I love a good thin crust pizza so of course I’m celebrating! I was thinking about what to do for todays post so I ended up looking up a load of random pizza facts and I’ve put my favourites into an infographic for you, check it out below!
I’ve been trying to make some healthy changes to my life recently and one thing that I know is really unhealthy for me is my habit of snacking, and yes I am cutting down but I thought I’d make myself some healthier snacks just in case! SO seeing as yesterday (21st) was National Granola Bar Day, I thought I’d make my own! Check out the video below or scroll down for the written recipe.
So I’ve been really into hot drinks in the winter months and I’ve been drinking a lot more tea recently so I thought I’d check out some local tea rooms, and luckily I have a tea obsessed friend who’s helping me out with this post so before I get into it, make sure you go check out TeaBeans at teaobsessedorange.wordpress.com or follow TeaBeans on Instagram! Her blog and instagram is exclusively tea! Talking about healing properties and different types of tea for different uses and of course the best tasting! I’ve been learning a lot and of course she’s been my guide for local tea rooms so go check her out! Okay without further ado, keep reading for our top picks of tea rooms in Bournemouth!
So there’s only really one christmas film I’m likely to watch this year and both mine and my boyfriends favourite christmas film so I wanted to do something for it, I’ve been wanting to make these for a while and they’re finally here…Jack Skellington Cake Pops! I’ve never actually made cake pops before but they were so fun to make and I love how they turned out, definitely a different kind of christmas treat to give to friends and family this year! Check out the video below for the tutorial on how to make them, I hope you guys like them!
I hope you guys like them and I’d love to hear what you think down in the comments and if you have any cake pop making tips or requests for what to make next!
It’s that time of year where it’s starting to get colder, and as we get closer to winter I prefer warm dinners like chilli, curry, soup, stew and roast dinners, the best thing about htese types of meals? You can make them in a slow cooker! I never relly thought much about cooking with a slow cooker and I never realised how many different meals you can make with it! It’s just so easy; chuck your ingredients in, put it on low for a couple hours and in terms of meal prep you can prep the night before and chuck it all in, then turn on the cooker before you leave for work and by the time you’re home it’s ready to go! I love how nicely a slow cooker/ crockpot cooks meat; because you’re leaving it on a low heat for a long period of time the meat just falls off the bone beautifully. Even better, you can even make fudge in a slow cooker! (Yes I have that recipe for you and it’s my favourite). So I have a couple of recipes to get you started, scroll down to check them out and try them for yourself!
October 1st was International Coffee Day so of course I had to celebrate it! So I decided to whip up some iced coffee and now I have the recipe for you guys to make it at home yourself! Check out the video below or scroll down for the written recipe:
I absolutely love ice cream and of course, Summer is the best season for it (although I eat ice cream whatever the weather), so because we’re all eating ice cream at the moment I thought I’d do a bit of research and collect some cool ice cream facts so check them out below!
What weird and wonderful facts do you know about ice cream? Are you a vanilla lover or do you have a different favourite flavour? Let me know down in the comments!
While I’m stuck in lockdown I thought that I might as well make some cupcakes for Easter! So I actually have a tutorial and recipe for these Creme Egg cupcakes; these turned out so well! They have a beautifully rich chocolate sponge with Creme Eggs baked in the centre of each cupcake – not as difficult as it sounds! Check out the tutorial video and if you don’t want to watch the video, scroll down for the full video!
